As part of the District's annual waterline maintenance program, Operators will be working in various neighborhoods flushing, exercising valves and testing hydrants over the next several weeks. This work may result in temporary red or discolored water. Information on "red water" is available in the FAQ's (click "FAQ" button on any PWSD website page).
August 31, 2016: District Operators have begun the annual District hydrant flushing recently. This week, flushing will take place in the commercial area near Best Buy and the Hilltop Apartments. Specific area updates will continue to be provided as information becomes available on this site.
Additional line maintenance work continues throughout the summer. Please watch for District contractors ERP, QPS and/or TW Summit, as well as PWSD vehicles in the area. We appreciate your support and help in keeping our operators and contractors safe!
