Mike Casey – Secretary of the Board and Parker Water Customer
Serving as Board Secretary, Mike’s brings extensive knowledge regarding water infrastructure and water supply issues. He has served on the El Dorado Mutual Water District’s Board, owned a steel manufacturing company, is experienced with underground utilities, and currently works for Arapahoe County’s Facilities and Fleet Management. Mike understands the financial importance of maintaining existing infrastructure, while planning for future capital improvement needs. Dedicated to serving the community, Mike also is involved with four other districts to analyze the financial and water supply benefits of regionalization.

Mike has been a Douglas County resident going on two decades. He originally moved here from another state because he was looking for a better quality of life. He feels that he found it in Parker.
Previously, Mike was a Project Manager in the home building industry. He has also owned a steel manufacturing company and worked for an underground utility contractor. His extensive practical experience with water and having served on the El Dorado Mutual Water District Board provides the community a solid foundation for his service on the Parker Water and Sanitation District Board.
The Parker Water and Sanitation District and the El Dorado Mutual Water District share similar characteristics. The El Dorado Water District is located in a high desert area that was an extremely arid environment, a lot like Parker. The demands placed on the limited water supply were severe.
Mike and his wife, Robbi, have been married for over 37 years and are both deeply invested in their community. They continue to volunteer their time to community organizations such as Mile High United Way and Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. Mike’s two adult children also reside in the area and are successful business professionals.
