Election - May 6, 2008

On May 6, 2008 Parker Water & Sanitation District will hold an election to fill three (3) positions on the Board of Directors.  All three open positions are for four (4) year terms of office.

The candidates running are:

• Shep Root
• Mark J. Lewis
• Jason G. Mumm
• Mike Casey
• Joseph Arseneau

Directors provide a vital service to our community.  Their responsibilities include:

• Directing financial planning and budgeting.
• Formulating policies.
• Authorizing debt.
• Establishing fees and charges.

To be eligible to run for the position of Director, candidates must be residents of, or own real property in the Parker Water & Sanitation District, and be registered voters in the State of Colorado.

This election will be a Polling Place Election, held at the District Office -19801 E Mainstreet, Parker, CO. The polls will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2008.

If it is not convenient for you to come to the polling place to vote, Applications for Absent Voter Ballots may be obtained at the District office at 19801 E. Mainstreet, Parker, or call the office and request that an Application for Absent Voter Ballot be sent to you. The deadline to request that an Absent Voter Ballot be mailed to you, is April 29, 2008.
