JOB OPENING

Operator – Water/Wastewater

Parker Water & Sanitation District is accepting applications for a full-time water/wastewater Operator. 

Requires skills needed to operate, monitor, control, test and trouble-shoot a well-based water supply and distribution system, a biological nutrient removal process (secondary treatment), an advanced wastewater treatment (tertiary filter) system, and a potable water treatment plant. 

Requires understanding of chemistry, biology and mathematical calculations to analyze results of standard lab tests.  Understanding of and ability to operate SCADA process control systems.  College course work in science/environment or current operator certification desirable.  Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL with Hazmat and air brake restriction removed.   

Starting pay range is between $17.30 and $30.60/hr depending upon certification level, degree, and experience. Excellent benefit package including educational opportunities.
